Cramping Without Bleeding -- Early Pregnancy Sign?From: Dee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 10 Apr 2001 10:36:28 -0500 (CDT)
I have an irregular cycle that seems to run anywhere from 32-35 days. I last had my period on March 9th and have been trying to conceive with my husband who recently underwent vasectomy reversal. I am not sure when *exactly* to expect my period, but today is the 33rd day of my cycle. I have been having pre-menstrual like abdominal cramping since the 5th of April, my breasts are growing, my cervix feels soft, I've been nauseous, etc. I have taken two hpt's and they have both been negative. I am going to wait a week and take another one. I have two questions: 1) If I am not pregnant, why would cramping begin 5 or more days before bleeding?; and 2) If I am pregnant, is this a common early symptom?
