Emily I am sorry your are experiencing all these worries. It is not good practice nor appropriate for them to tell you about the cord around the neck and send you on your way without discussing with you what that means in terms of safety for your unborn child. You have way too many worries and concerns that need to be addressed by your Dr. Why not call the office and schedule an appt time to come in and address all these fears. That's what you pay the Drs for and I think any good OB would be happy to put your mind at ease. Your Dr is not an effective Dr if he is unwilling to give you time in the office to get your questions answered.
