I understand that taking tylenol 3 during pregnancy is *safe* but too much can cause addiction in the fetus. I have alot of pain due to bad disk/pinched nerve and have taken up to 4 pills in one day (never more than perscribed dose, actually less) and have taken this much 2 days/row. Is this too much? I try to avoid it but some days it is so unbearable I can hardly even get up without medication. Most days I can get by with anywhere from just one per day to 2 but the really bad days scare me and the takiing it numerous days in a row. I try to skip days when I can bear it but sometimes it just hurts so much. My OB assured me the meds are safe and said I can even take 2 at one time if needed but I"m still scared of addiction in my baby. Thanks! I really appreciate all the effort you give in answering our questions!
