I was wondering the closer you get to delivery does your cervix become high or low. I was seen at L and D last night due to lack of fetal movement. Baby was fine but was found to be having contractions. The nurse had a hard time finding cervix and she maybe dilated a finger tip or so. They gave me an iv for dehydration the contractions slowed down and I went home. I have still have pains today but am wondering if they are normal or not. So my question is: Is the cervix higher or lower prior to labor.
