I am 37 weeks pg and I have been experiencing severe pain in my left leg, just below my calf but above my ankle (about 4 fingers directly above my ankle) for about the last 12 hours or so. I have experienced in the last week all signs of prelabor (lost my mucus plug about 6 days ago, baby's head engaged, cervix dialated 2-3 cm, 70% effaced, lots of contractions, etc...) This is my second child and I didn't experience pain like this with the first. Any suggestions on what this is? Is it just another sign of labor coming or maybe something else? Thankyou for your help.
