I had a 3lb 13 baby 1 week before my due date which was the 22/02/01 meaning he was full term and this was undetected by the professionals i had to have an emergency c/section as baby was obviousley in distress and so was i. Baby was in special care for 3 weeks, which they did a brilliant job! Baby is home and now weighs a wopping 6lb 4. Apparantley my placenta was small . Is this a common thing to happen, and what causes it, i did have thrush throughout the pregnancy which never cleared up even though i was using the pessaries and cream, and also had a throught infection which i never treated because i though treatment would harm baby.
