I understand your fearfulness-- I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 healthy pregnancy. Really all you should be concerned with is the HCG levels. If they are rising appropriately every 48 hours, then chances are you're fine. Even if they aren't, that doesn't always mean you're having a miscarriage. Spotting is normal, esp since it sounds like this only lasted a few hours. However, I would check w/ your doctor regarding the hcg levels. If dr is comfortable with it, you're probably OK. Maybe they will do another blood level to make sure things are progressing, esp given that you've had some spotting. hope this helps!
