Hi there, I need help: I went to the doctor today for my check-up and I expressed to my Doctor that I have been having the following symptoms: Cramps, (especially) down the leg, a smelly odor coming from my belly button and heavy discharge...He told me the cramps could be due to digestional issue and that I had a yeast infection....But I know the cramps are not due to stomach problems, they are the same period cramps I experience.....I am 12.5 weeks and I am concerned my doctor is not being too helpful...He checked for the hearbeat and couldn't find one, so then we had an ultrasound and it turned out the baby was fine....But I am concerned, since the nurse mentioned as I was leaving that I was leaking protein......Are all these things normal? What are the causes and consequences of having a bladder infection? And why couldn't I hear my baby's heartbeat? I have had a miscarriage before and I felt the same cramps I am feeling now....Please advise....
