My doctor has me on Brethine and I started feeling contractions about 5 min apart lastnight and it took 3 pills in 6 hours to make the pain stop. Then, I lost my mucus plug (it was pink and a large glob of it) and I have been having really bad cramps (not contractions). I feel sharp pain like I am being cut inside near my bladder area. The baby's head is engaged and last time I was checked, which was a week and a half ago, I was 2 cm dialated and 70% effaced, but still posterior. My doctor said that if I went into labor again that he would not stop it. My question is do you think that I stopped labor again and if I did will it start on it's own again. Should I continue to take the Brethine after losing my bloody show? How much longer do you think I will go? -- Thanks in advance!
