I should be 7 weeks 1 day. I started spotting then bleeding at 5 weeks. I had a ultrasound done at 5 1/2 weeks, they said they didnt see anything. That i was probably having a miscarriage. Then they tell me that they want to do blood work every 48 hours to make sure my HCG levels were going down, they were not going down they were going up but not doubling. Today i get a call, the dr. says by blood from yesterday my HCG levels was 734, on Wed they were 736, so she said it looks like i did have a miscarriage since they went down and they didnt see anything on my ultrasound that was done at 5 1/2 weeks. My dr. is a family doctor and said all my OB appt. they could do or they could referral me out to an OB, should i go to an OB for a second opinion? My progestrone was low also, so they put me on prometrium 200 mg 3 times a day, it went up from 2.4 to 175, then they told me to go to 2 times daily since it was so high, now it is at 35. Any info would be great. I am in the dark on this, and by dr. said that this is strange to her. Thanks
