Rio-

I've had several yeast infections and usually the first symptom is the itching and irritation. I've had some with a light discharge and some with none. I had one in the very beginning of my pregnancy, and they are extremely common. Why did your doctor tell you he can't give you anything? Is he your primary care doc or an OBGYN? Did you actually get an exam, because I would if you haven't already. If it makes you feel better, my doctor told me Monistat 3 was safe, and I've read a lot also that says it's safe. Good luck.
