Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: 6w3d - No Heartbeat" It has been 8 weeks since my LMP, and I tested positive pg at 4 weeks, so must have been correct on ovulation time. Had transvaginal us at 7 weeks, with no heartbeat and fetal pole measured 5.3 weeks. Dr said baby died at 5 weeks and I would have a miscarriage, but scheduled another us for following week. Wednesday (one week later), had transvaginal us with still no heartbeat, baby measured at 6.3 days.
