I had a termination 3 years ago at 12 weeks, that day I began to spot, this became heavier, then lighter like a normal period; however I bled pretty heavily, flooding a pad and clothing within 10 minutes, stopping for a day, then without pain, flooding again....every time I thought it had stopped it began again. I tried ringing E.R. but no-one actually understood what was happening, I rang the hospital ward and was offered another D&C which, I was told would make things better or worse, seeing that it was what had caused all of this I didn't go in, and after 2 months of pretty continual blood loss my cycle returned to normal. My questions are has anyone experienced this? What is the cause? And is it likely to have had an affect on my current fertility? Any insight would be appreciated, as, although a long time ago now, no-one could give me any answers at the time...
