I had at m/c and D & C at 6 weeks, waited two full cycles, and I conceived on my third ovulation after the m/c. I am now 9 weeks pregnant. Everything seems to be going fine (saw baby and heartbeat) I guess if it was really just a one time thing, it doesn't really matter when you try again (Of course, you will have to wait until the m/c is over) If it is not a one-time thing, and you end up having recurrent m/c, at least you will find out faster, and will be able to get some help sooner.
