Slow Growing Embryo, no heartbeatFrom: Accepting (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 23 Mar 2001 20:57:36 -0600 (CST)
At 6 weeks LMP, I had a transvaginal u/s which showed just a sac. 10 days later, I had another one (I was then 7 weeks 4 days LMP). The tech said the sac showed me to be 5 weeks 3 days. I KNOW that is not right. I know exactly when I ovulated (through temps, OPK, etc.) There was a fetal pole, but no heartbeat. At 6 weeks, my HCG was 3000, then 2 days later 5053. What is going on? I'm pretty sure this is a loss, but why am I not bleeding or cramping? Can you have an embryo that is just growing slowly? Thank you for your time and consideration.
