Sally, like Dr. McIntosh said, it is likely the carrier, not the
progesterone. I have had an allergic reaction to the suppositories one
time too. I got them from a different pharmacy and the base was not the
same. They put me on crinone gel, which didn't cause me problems. There
are lots of ways to get progesterone into your body. A good pharmacist
can make recommendations about ingredients in the various forms of
progesterone medications and then you can discuss that info with your
