Try having **TWO** sisters who are physicians. Talk about parental figures and getting mad if you don't follow their advice! HAH!

Still, I've come to a realization about MDs. The vast majority went into medicine for sheer love of the science and humanity. They don't want to "reign" over their patients or look like know-it-alls (although it certainly seems like it). They are only trying to help, to fix, to cure. Keep that in mind and pretty soon you won't fear your MDs anymore. Besides, worrying about a condition that requires intervention usually far outweighs worrying if your MD is "mad" at you.

So get ye to your peri! Good luck!
