It seems from your posts that you are really scared of the FC? STOP WORRYING! With an epi you wont feel a thing! It will depend on your situation as far as if and when you get the catheter. If your bladder is empty when you get the epi you may not need one until after the baby is out. (As in my case) My guess is they remove the FC when you deliver to make things easier. I would imagine if they didn't, it would be in the way and get tangled in baby and placenta! I have a history of UTI's and bladder probs, trust me when I say your epi will prevent any pain from a Foley. It really hurts to have one without it though! At Mon, 19 Mar 2001, Di wrote: >
