On Wed my blood test showed positive for pregnancy, but very early pregnancy (13 days after ovulation). the hcg level was 42.8 . they want me to go in for more blood next wed (one week after original test). my question is that if the levels are supposed to increase or double every 48 hrs why can't i go in earlier? I am going crazy with anticipation. should I call and ask to be seen earlier. I have been ttc for 1 yr and finally conceived with progesterone and estrogen patch. also, does a faint line on home test correlate to amt of hcg level in urine? thanks
