There are 2 things that I can NOT predict. One is the weight of the baby.( I have never missed by more than 5 pounds) The other is when the baby will get here. I have seen women 4 cm at 36 weeks who were induced at 42 weeks for postdates nad others who were Long, closed, and high who delivered that night. That is why I quit checking women routinely at their prenatal visits. If there is a problem I check otherwise no.
