Sara Jane-

Have another ultrasound in a week. My story sounded just like yours, but I had a miscarriage. At 8 weeks from last menstrual period, u/s showed only yolk sac, no fetal pole. Baby stopped developing. Brown spotting later, stopped, a week later started bleeding more heavily. I hope that what happened to me does not happen to you.

An ultrasound in a week should confirm either way.

Am pregnant again at 9 weeks + 5 days (4 months postmiscarriage). U/s at 9 weeks showed baby w/heartbeat wiggling arms and legs. I used progesterone cream daily after ovulation this time (unsure if it made a difference). Good luck!
