Tear during birth

After reading the delivery report of my son's birth, I noticed that they said I had an episotomy and also a suchal (sp?)tear. Can you tell me what suchal means and where that means the tear was located? I have looked all over for a definition of this word, but I can't find one. I thought the doctor said the second tear was farther back (close to my cervix) Is this possible? Are tears like this common?

Thank you for your help.
