Thank you for your time..michelle Michelle, I recently survived an AFE, too, during the birth of my daughter on January 17, 2001. This was my first child. I would love to have more children, but am scared about becoming pregnant again, too. My doctor says the risk for reoccurance is low, but I'm worried that not enough women have survived this for them to really know what the risks are.
