Michelle,

I recently survived an AFE, too, during the birth of my daughter on January 17, 2001. This was my first child. I would love to have more children, but am scared about becoming pregnant again, too. My doctor says the risk for reoccurance is low, but I'm worried that not enough women have survived this for them to really know what the risks are.

I would love to talk with another AFE survivor about my experience. Would you want to talk more?

Thanks, Amy
