Curious about triple screenFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 9 Mar 2001 21:20:30 -0600 (CST)
During evaluation of the blood drawn for the triple test, the mother's age is taken into account. Right??? If so, is it even -possible- for a 34 y/o woman to get a result of say..1:2000 for down's. Or would the result always be somewhere close to the value of age alone at best? Are any other factors considered other than the hormones and age?
