Mucous Changes after Early MiscarriageFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 7 Mar 2001 10:32:20 -0600
I have been given the o.k. by my doc to start TTC. I had a miscarriage at 4.5 weeks pg with an HCG Level of 2 on the day I started bleeding and cramping (03/01/01). I stopped bleeding on 03/04/01 completely with no additional cramping. We are charting and my mucous has become white and thick like it does a few days before ovulation. I am on a normal 29 day cycle, but I have read that after a miscarriage it may take up to 4-6 weeks for things to return back to "normal". Based on my normal cycle pre-miscarriage it would be about time for me to be 3 days pre-ovulation. Is it possible to ovulate this soon after miscarriage? I am charting on Lifecycle and it says based on my miscarriage date that ovulation is more than 1 1/2 weeks away. I don't want to miss the chance to conceive based on a calendar. Basically, is it possible to go back on your "normal" pre-miscarriage cycle or should I actually count cycle days from the day the miscarriage bleeding started? I have read this forum and cannot find an answer. Thanks for all of your help. This forum has been great through TTC, pregnancy symtpoms, signs of miscarriage and encouragement after my loss. Angela
