You should do temps as close as possible to the same time each day. Besides looking for a rise, keep an eye on cervical mucus, and any ovulatory pains. Does every shift indicate ovulation? No. As for me BBT was a frustrating escapade. My temps never showed any consistent pattern, evne with a year and a half of Clomid, no ovulation detected. However I do have 2 wonderful daughters, concieved out of the blue with no meds!
