FSH & pregnancyFrom: coco (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 04 Mar 2001 11:11:58 -0600
I am 38 years old and have been actively trying to conceive for the past year and a half. We have had two miscarriages in that time. We have four other children and had no problems conceiving any of them. We are currently working with a reproductive endocrinologist and have had five rounds of chlomid. This last round of chlomid they did a chlomid challenge. My day 3 FSH was 11 and my estradial was o.k. My day 10 FSH after 100 mg of chlomid was 32. I have been told I may not continue with an HCG shot and that my pregnancy prognosis is poor. Is this for this cycle only of for good. How does the FSH level affect the egg and chances of pregnancy? CG
