I am currently 9 wks pregnant and have had excruitiating sciatic pain for 2 weeks. I sleep about 4-5 hrs a night as finding a comfortable position is so difficult and then I have to get up and walk it off. My feet hurt along with both buttocks, and backs of legs. I usually have to sit on a pillow for some kind of small relief. The pain is constant, 24 hrs a day. My doc suggested seeing a chiropractor and I did find one that used an activator method. I really am doubtful he's helping me much and considering he popped my ankles the other day they're in more pain now. The whole idea of having someone move my bones around is horrifying to me, especially now that my ankles hurt. I have no idea what to do. I'm taking a few pain pills but hate to do that. Do I exercise? Move more? Rest more? Twist, bend? I'm becoming quite depressed as this is our 1st child, I'm 35 and have been in so much pain already.
