High pre-ovulatory BBT and ovulation questionFrom: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 3 Mar 2001 05:46:54 -0600 (CST)
I'm in my second cycle post-pill and my first cycle of charting bbt...and am ttc. I have seen a ob/gyn, have had complete bloodwork,(hormones, thyroid etc)...all normal. My pre-ovulatory bbt ranges around 98.1-98.2.....is this normal (my thyroid bloodwork was normal)....could it be due to the fact that I have rheum. arthritis and take prednisone ? I had a temp shift on day 18, to 98.5 average for 5 days, does that mean I ovulated ? How soon after the shift can you take the pregnancy test ? Thank you for your wonderful service.
