Fetal Heartbeat

I just had an ultrasound this morning. It's been 8 weeks and 6 days since my lmp. The radiologist dated my baby at 7 weeks 3 days. He said that the baby was really small and did not see a hearbeat even with a transvag ultrasound.

I had a m/c Jan/00 and Aug/00 and have 2 boys, 11 and 4. My cycle has not been regular since I began Rebif therapy for multiple sclerosis in Sept/00. I stopped the Rebif immediately when I found out I was preg. (I was using bbt to avoid pregnancy and had was pretty sure I ovulated 4 days after intercourse).

I will not receive the results for a hcg test till Monday morning and I hope I don't end up a mental case before then (I don't have far to go!)

What I would like to know is what are my chances of this beautiful baby's chances for survival? (The Dr. showed me a picture of my sweet angel and he looked perfect, two little arms and legs and he looked like a real little baby!)

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
