Baby aspirin and ovulationFrom: Cyn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Feb 2001 18:05:39 -0600 (CST)
I am currently taking Clomid for infertility. I ovulated on day 17 with 50mg last cycle. This month, my Dr. increaded me to 100mg and I added baby aspirin and Robitussin to my morning regime. I called her after day 23 because I had not yet ovulated. I told her about the baby aspirin and she told me not to take it because it sometimes inhibits ovulation. Could you please explain how/why it inhibits ovulation and why it only effects some women. I took it because I know of many women who take it to help line the uterus for better implantation. I have stopped using it, but wanted to understand its effects. Also, I've heard it is a good idea to take daily once you become pregnant. Is this true for everyone? Thank you!
