Jenny the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago as I am now 8.5 weeks pregnant after having a miscarriage and a D&C. Two weeks after the D&C I ovulated (which I could tell because of the mucus after sex) and the doctors kept telling me that I was not pregnant and that the symptoms (which were new) were from the last pregnancy. I insisted on a quantitative HCG test and at that time it was only 7.7. A couple of days later however in a urine test I tested positive. I called the docs and they were surprised. So far so good for me. Just wanted to let you know that it is possible and I hope your pregnancy goes just fine. Start taking prenatal vitamins just in case. In doing my research before I knew for sure that I was pregnant I found that usually your hormones return to normal around 2-3 weeks after the D&C so good luck, this is probably a new one!!!
