Anxiety medication in class A, B, or C during pregnancyFrom: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Feb 2001 13:26:40 -0600 (CST)
I am 2 1/2 months pregnant. I was taking Klonipin for panic attacks and acute anxiety. I haven't taken them since being pregnant. However, I need them again. My ob said not to take them and to find a medication in class A,B, or C. He said Klonipin is in class D and not to use it. I have to have the medication to sleep and surivive from panic attacks. He recommended prozac, anyone who knows anything about anxiety/panic attacks knows this medication will not work. My ob has left it to me and my psychiatrist to find the med. My doctor is looking but hasn't found anything. Does anyone know of a safe medication in class A, B, or C to use. I am scared and need to find a medication to help me.
