A couple of weeks ago, I had a miscarriage at about 17 weeks. My water had broken and later tests found Group B Strep in the placenta and the umbillical cord. I had tested + for Group B Strep at about 8 weeks. My question is: Can GBS cause the sac to break? And is there anything that can be done to prevent this from happening again in future pregnancies?
