It has been shown that there is no need for restrictions on any activity with a placenta previa prior to 24 weeks gestation unless there are some extenuating circumstances. Normally, the placental position is reevaluated at this 24 week mark for this reason. If it is still present at that point, then precautions regarding activity and sex are given. What is the difference between sex and "vigorous sex"?... Lynn
