fibroid after pregnancy lossFrom: Phullara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Feb 2001 11:15:35 -0600 (CST)
I am 32 years old and I am now 2 weeks after losing my first pregnancy at 20 weeks. During my pregnancy my fibroid grew to 6 to 5 inches and the uterus grew to almost 2 inches above umbilicus. I can feel that my uterus is still there up to the umbilicus. My questions are 1.) Is my uterus involuting slower than normal? 2.) what is the possibility that my fibroid will go back to my pre-pregnant size (1 inch by i inch)? 3.) Should I wait up to 6 weeks before I try to get pregnant again? Thank you so much for your help.
