baby asprin question

i got preg. in august after taking baby asprin, but my dr said there was no reason for me to take it, so i stopped. i m/c in sept. could that have been a possible cause? that was the only time we conceived, so i wanted to know if there are any problems with taking it on my own? what could it do? i am 7 dpo and was going to try it again.
