Placenta PreviaFrom: kris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Feb 2001 08:46:25 -0600 (CST)
I've tried to find the answer to this in the archives, but didn't really see it. I'm curious to know at what point in a pregnancy does this usually go away. I'm only in my 14th week, so I wasn't worried when the MFM doc showed me during my ultrasound yesterday, but I didn't think to ask about when it might be rechecked and when it usually corrects itself. Also, I'd like to know what restrictions you would put on your patients activities if this was found. I've heard bed rest from some, and no restrictions from others. I'll go with my doctor's recommendations of nothing more strenuous than my water aerobics class (and limit the jumping in class), and no vigorous sex. I'm just wondering what others do. If you can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Kris
