I had an U/S today at 6wk 2days. A heartbeat was detected. The tech, my husband and I all clearly saw it. A few hours later I received a call from my OB that no fetal pole was detected. I went in for beta HCG and my level was at 21,000. My OB said a fetal pole should have been detected. But how can there be a heartbeat with no fetal pole?
