5w6d ultrasoundFrom: Patty (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 17 Feb 2001 20:23:57 -0600 (CST)
US found sac to be 5w6d and saw what tech called cardiac activity along with a yolk sac but no visable pole. Cardiac activity was so small couldn't be measured in bpm and hard to measure size. My hcg4 days b4 us was 11,252 so should have been around 40000 at time of us. I know cardiac activity is a good thing but tech seemed concerned about absence of pole. Dr. is out of town till tuesday. I have lost 6 and never saw a flutter except with my 1lc. Is it normal for hcg to be so high see a yolk sac and the "cardiac activity but no pole at this stage or is this one doomed too. Please answer frankly and honestly. I don't want to fill myself with false hope to be let down again. Thank You
