PLACENTA ABRUPTION AND PRE ECLAMPSIAFrom: GINA (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 17 Feb 2001 19:19:16 -0600 (CST)
Can a possible abruption at 25 weeks from car accident have any connection with developing pre eclampsea at 36 weeks?I was needless to say under a tremendous amount of stress. I was put to bed at 25 weeks when the accident happened contractions started about 10 days after accident I was addmitted to hospital and contractions were stoped with medication. I continued to have mild abdominal pain throughout pregnaucy but no outside bleeding. I have had 3 earlier pregnaucy with no complications and this one was unaventfull up untill 25 weeks. Thanks Gina
