I am currently 12 wks 4 dys pregnant, there is a slight epidemic of fifth disease where I live. My question is my DS who is 2 1/2 goes to a home daycare, and I am concerned about becoming infected. I know this can be quite damaging to a baby.

I really can't take him out of daycare, is there anything I can do to decrease the risk of this? He is supposed to go to a birthday party thiw weekend for a child his age, and I terrified there will be someone there who has the virus. What should I do?
