Smear resultFrom: amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 16 Feb 2001 07:16:38 -0600 (CST)
I have just received the results from a smear taken three weeks ago which say I have a mild, non-specific inflammatory reaction showing marked reserve cell hyperplasia and squamous metaplasia (mostly immature). I am certain that I am in the early throws of pregnancy - my fourth pregnancy so I do recognise the symptons. Will such a smear result cause any complications to a pregnancy? It is three weeks before a gynaecologist next visits my town - do I need to do anything before that?
