accuracy of early ultrasoundsFrom: alison (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 14 Feb 2001 09:39:06 -0600 (CST)
I had a transvaginal ultrasound when my HCG was 990. Everything I have read sounds like you can't see anything until HCG levels are 1200-2000. Is this correct? The radiolagist said that there was nothing in my uterus or pelvis area, but they still diagnosed me with an ectopic. How do they know that if they can't see anything in the ultrasound? I could have just had a miscarriage. Thanks. This site is great. ALison
