I am the host of a miscarriage support forum, and one of my members has read somewhere that since she has had two m/c, the chance for her next pregnancy to end in m/c is 40%. Is this a fair statement?

If I remember right, her losses were at 6 & 8 weeks, and this last time (she m/c last week) they put her on progesterone at 3.5 weeks gestation. She has a 3 1/2 year old son who I assume she carried with no complications.
