Jodi,
I will be taking Clomid for the first time this month also on days 5-9.  As my doctor and his nurse explained, I will start out on 50 mg.  They will increase it up to 200 mg if necessary.  If we are still not pregnant, he will refer me to a fertility specialist.  Clomid is the only route that he takes.  He said that lots of times, his patients become pregnant halfway through the steps.   I will be 33 in April 2001 and have no children.  I am counting on the Clomid working for us.  I'm not a gambler who is ready to take on the possiblity of having seven children with fertility drugs.
