Tara, I know this message is to Dr, but I also read your post a couple of days ago. I don't mean to oppose his opinion, but I stayed at 4-5 cm and 80% effaced for 5 weeks. No I did not take meds to stop labor. He just never came. I was induced at 39 weeks. SInce I was so dilated it only took two hours. Hopefully yours will go quickly too. Walking helps to speed things along. Good luck!!
