hi christy, I can tell you a little from my experience breastfeeding my daughter. She ate every 3 hours for the first two months then I started spreading the feedings farther apert, slowly. By 3 months old she ate every four hours and droped one nightime feed. Breastfed babies are able to go hours between feedings if they are accustumed to it and expect it. They will just learn to eat more at a time instead of snacking all day and night! My daughter started solids at 6 months and I continued to offer the breast at each meal until 10 mo. Re. breast pumps, it doesn't hurt to start saving up milk now. You should prob. start introducing a botle now too or you might run into problems of her not wanting to drink from one. Good Luck!
