A friend of mine who is 14 weeks pregnant had an ultrasound and was told that the baby had no skull. They recomended that she terminate the pregnancy.

How accurate is an ultrasound at detecting a problem like this at 14 weeks. Could it be a mistake. We are looking for any hope.
