I am 37w and have very frequent contractions whether I am standing, sitting or lying down. However, if I am sitting, my contractions and VERY uncomfortable (crampy in front and back). If I am lying down, the contractions come and go and the same frequency but without much discomfort. What explains this? It makes me very nervous to sit because I worry that the baby is being squashed during contractions.
